Joseph Home Inspections, LLC

Hello, I'm Don Joseph, your Home Inspector.  I was born in Fostoria, Ohio and raised between Fostoria and Bascom.  I spent my early years on the farm, fishing, hunting, trapping and involved in school activities, national thespians and sports.  I've spent the majority of my years in Northwest Ohio. I had the opportunity  to live in the Buffalo, New York area for seven years before retiring and returning to Northwest Ohio. I spent most of my professional career as a Manufacturing Quality Systems Engineer, the last seven years as a Quality/Reliability Liaison Engineer in the Buffalo, NY and Southern Ontario Canada areas.

Following retirement in 2006 my wife and I moved to Findlay. We bought our home in 2007.  We call Findlay home and attend New Life Assembly of God. 

While growing up I was blessed to have family members with professions in carpentry, plumbing, drywall and commercial painting. I was able to draw much knowledge and hands on learning during this time in my life. Currently I have family members with professions in roofing, sheet metal work and concrete/masonry work providing me great sources for information.

I totaly remodeled an old farm house doing 100% of the roofing, plumbing, electrical, drywall & ceilings, windows, insulation, siding and well everything but the HVAC and septic systems. I also added a garage from the footers up.  That was in 1976 and it still stands to this day!  Did I do everything right? No, but by 1976 standards and technology it was right.  Education provides knowledge, Experience provides wisdom, Research & Development and Technology provides us superior products, tools and procedures.

I've also completed roofing, siding and remodeling projects for friends, family and my children. So I've been involved with home construction projects most of my adult life providing me with vast knowledge and hands on experience vital to a Home Inspector.  Click on the "My Latest Projects" tab on the Main Menu in upper left corner to see some of the construction projects I've recently completed.
